About the Coaching
This coaching activity aims at supporting those who have difficulties experiencing their relationship with time. We will work together to identify the real factors hindering your productivity and we will find solutions to be applied to your context.
More than 30 years ago, when I started to observe my relationship with time and how time could help me look after my mind and its dynamics, I stopped fighting against time and time stopped being a problem.
I know how it feels to fail when it comes to time. I know the feeling of having to procrastinate, of following up on any interruption simply as a way to avoid working on the task you need to deliver. I know what it means to make yourself work 14 hours a day. I know the frustration that comes from the illusion that this behaviour will resolve your problem with time.
But there is another way. Understand the real problem we have in our relationship with time and consciously solve it by applying solutions, often personal ones, adapted to our own context. Simple solutions which, with little effort, can make us very productive.
In my career as a methodologist, my main objective has always been to find solutions characterised by high leverage and requiring little effort to implement. The Pomodoro® Technique, the Garden Technique and the Picnic Method are examples of high-leverage, low-effort solutions.
Why do we need these kinds of solutions? Because when we are under pressure, our energy level is low and we can't implement complex solutions. We need to use our energy to think, make effective decisions, and solve problems. We must not work for the process, the process must work for us.
Programme of intensive highly-interactive individual one-hour coaching sessions.
The Pomodoro® Coaching You & Me Programme can be offered live online, onsite in your company and in-house in our offices.

I won't give you a programme
Every person is unique, a one-off. So together we need to find what works for you.
What are we going to work on together?
It depends on your needs. For instance, in this coaching programme, I have worked with:
Managers who needed to reconcile their work objectives with an effective family presence.
Entrepreneurs who wanted to learn how to develop their innovative products with their team applying an evolutionary, adaptive process.
Researchers who needed to combine different needs: to work and deliver results on different projects, keep up to date with the newest theories and practices and of course take time for themselves and their families.
Writers, designers, product developers and professionals who needed to develop and deliver their creative work and to do so, had to organise their time and resources to favour their creative process and produce the best possible results in a sustainable way.
Teams interested in improving their productivity by organising an effective and sustainable Weekly Plan, applying practices to share knowledge, defining strategies to deal with interruptions, uncertainty and change.
After more than 30 years of experience as a coach, these are the most common challenges we have worked on:
How to manage time, how to prioritise tasks, how to structure your day, your week, and your teamwork.
How to achieve multiple goals every week.
How to manage and reduce the complexity of your tasks.
How to develop your own products in an evolutionary and adaptive way, whether they are software applications, research projects, online stores, etc.
How to organise and develop your team to enhance their skills.
My approach to dealing with Time
It is not surprising that time appears to be the most challenging aspect of productivity. Time is the key factor when it comes to being productive.
We will work on how to make time our main ally to increase your productivity.
The root of the problem with time lies not in the force you exert to "keep your time under control" but in what pushes you not to take care of your mind: not breathing, not taking breaks, not observing yourself.
You do not need to make yourself work more, run, speed up or fight against time. Doing this makes you even less productive and will cause you to feel frustrated and exhausted.
The solution to managing time can only be found in a radical change of your point of view. And it is easier than it seems. By acquiring adequate tools and working on yourself and your own needs, time can turn from being perceived as an enemy to an ally. We can use time to observe ourselves, make our minds work better and by doing so increase our focus. This leads to a real improvement in productivity. Time can help us respect our deadlines. In a gentle way. One Pomodoro at a time.
