Test your Agile skills in a measurable way

Participants to this seminar will learn what Agile Methods are and are intended for, what to do to apply them without obstacles and what to expect as their benefits.

Francesco will explain you the essential and often unknown aspects of Agile Methods.

You will be given tests to measure your real Agile skills and productivity and avoid the delusion of "being Agile" just because you propose and share Agile values and practices and you have post-its at the windows.

By the end of this seminar you'll have expanded your awareness about Agile Methods. You'll know how to apply them and how to measure the real productivity of an "Agile" development process. You'll be stimulated to look at these methods from a different perspective and increase your awareness about software development processes.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AGILE? CAN THERE BE AN AGILE PROCESS? CAN YOU MEASURE WHETHER AND HOW AGILE YOU ARE? WHAT BENEFITS CAN BE EXPECTED FROM THE APPLICATION OF THESE METHODS?
Software Design Explained

In this seminar, Francesco will provide you with the tools to understand the value and goals of agile methods, to learn the benefits and potential obstacles of applying them, to measure the productivity of these methods and concretely test one's effectiveness in "being agile".

ABOUT THIS SEMINAR
Software Design Explained

The purpose of this seminar is to provide information to help you make an informed decision about agile methods.

You can be very confused and skeptical about agile methods when you come into contact with them. In almost 20 years since the agile manifesto, hundreds of books have been written by agilists of the first, second and following generations. Although agile methods have become the new mainstream, the original message - what agile methods are, how and why use them - has frequently been distorted, often made superficial, sometimes made a religion.

Software Design Explained

The value of this seminar is to give its participants the contribution of one of the pioneers of these methods.

Francesco started working on Extreme Programming (XP) and agile methods in 1999. He developed the XP community in Italy. He was chosen by Kent Beck as reviewer of the second edition of XP Explained. In this seminar Francesco wants to share the essence of these methods.

An Agile expert but not an Agile evangelist...

Don't think you will find an agile evangelist in Francesco. Since 2005 Francesco has been looking for new ways to be productive in software development. In his presentation you will find a fair interpretation of and objective information on agile methods.

By having this information, you will be able to understand the essence of agile methods, their goals, possible benefits and application. You'll also learn what obstacles you can encounter by applying them and how to avoid them.

Francesco will give concrete and measurable tests not to delude yourself and develop the "I am agile because I follow values, principles, practices... I also have posts at the window" syndrome.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This seminar is ideal for developers, managers, coaches, team leaders - junior or senior. And generally to anyone interested in learning more about agile methods

Simone Casciaroli

Senior software developer (Contractor) at Nutralete

Since attending this program with Francesco Cirillo, and learning his approach to software design, I have realized that my previous understanding of the topic was not as effective as I once thought. By understanding his approach, I have been able to significantly improve my own software design, benefiting both my team and myself. Despite the fact that my course was focused solely on software design, it has helped me become an all-around better software developer.

Matteo Regazzi

Agile Coach at inspearit Italy

Having experienced Francesco’s work and methodology in the past, I wanted to study with him again and try his mentoring program. Amazingly, I was able to regain immediate momentum, motivation, and obtain astonishing results, even though working remotely. This was also due in part to the organization of the sessions, which were always efficient and productive. One of the best investments I have ever made in myself. Thank you!
